Some stories can be written down. Others must be seen.
That’s why, as part of the trenČIN project, a documentary film directed by Jakub Ondráček is being made, following the project right where it’s taking place – among the people.
The camera heads out into the field alongside project author Kateřina Šedá and our “ceremonial officers”, capturing the search for new honorees, the award ceremonies themselves, and the moments when the honorees nominate others. We’re also gradually conducting interviews with those we’ve met and honored throughout the project.
The film will thus not only document the outcome but, above all, record the entire journey – from the first meetings and the presentation of awards to the closing ceremony at the end of November.
Because trenČIN isn’t just about who we found, but also how we found them.
And the camera is there to capture it all. 🎥
