Otelia, Otilka, as everyone calls her, is the oldest of three sisters. Dad disappeared in the war, and Mom died when Otília was twelve. It wasn’t easy in her life, but she says she had a wonderful life. She raised two daughters and is now going to Denmark for her granddaughter’s wedding. The only thing that bothered her for a long time was her father’s idea. She could not forgive him for not running home from the war, as others did. Eventually, fate found a way to reconcile them.
Perhaps even the loss of life in it has built overly empathy for people whose fate does not spare. First she made soups for the homeless. Home in a 15-litre pot.
