I'm a perfectly normal teacher
When we received a nomination for teacher Katka in MŠ Kubrá, we did not need navigation, we knew where to go and where to park. Kubra is small and we have already appreciated several interesting people here. But as soon as we entered the MŠ campus, we received information that Mrs. Katka’s teacher was coming to work in about an hour. ” Appreciate it at home, ” a colleague of hers gave a brief explanation of where she lived. We sat in the car, and according to what we heard, we went looking for Katka at her house. Well, whether we were listening badly or the description of the road to Katka’s house wasn’t quite accurate, we can’t judge. It is certain, however, that we did not reach the place, and although we asked the passersby and involved all the threads and threads in our heads, the clues we received did not help us to find Katka. So we went back to kindergarten. After all, good 40 minutes went by, so we knew that she should come to the Academy slowly. Really! There was a quiet woman waiting for us, terrified by our costumes. When we read the nomination letter, Katka started crying. She needed our hugs, but even after them she remained very fragile and fierce.
She has been a schoolteacher for 39 years, and now her parents, who were preschoolers years ago and entrust her with their children, are coming to the Academy.
When Katka is not in the MŠ, she enjoys her three children, three grandchildren and gardens. Mrs. Katka’s husband is a builder. When she builds houses, Katka cooks for the masters. When I compare my work with that of my husband, I say, you have something tangible to look at the house, he says it was built by the Cup, but I have such a void. You can’t see what I’m doing… We had to explain to Katke that she is as good a builder as her husband, but she builds the foundation in children for their whole life, which is most important.
Katka also told us that she and her children from the Academy of Performing Arts go to the library in Trenčín, they worryfully write the statements of the children and pass the notes on to them when they leave the nursery. He admits he’s thinking about the kids this weekend. She’s worried when some of them cried and she didn’t find out why. When the children come to the Academy for the first time, according to Katka, they must be left alone, although gradually and slowly, to come to the teacher, they should not be forced.
Afterward, we let Katka be moved to do her job, and we let her teach the children everything important to her life, because that is exactly what she learns in the Academy.
