Vladimír Dobiaš

We first looked for Mr. Teacher at school, but we learned that he’s on the floor. So we called him and went to Dobrá, where he spent his time. Despite an unexpected visit, he and his brother received us with great warmth. Vladimir Dobias teaches English language and history. He came to school after he had found himself in his previous work before making a decision that led him to a new career. Although the work of a teacher is not easy, it does so with commitment and conviction. He thinks that children are clever and responsive, although he does not always share the attitude of some parents. Free time is mainly devoted to sport. It’s not just a hobby, however, but it’s also a way for him to cope with his neurological disease. It provides an example that motivates and guides other people who face similar health challenges. His day starts at 4:30 in the morning. Every morning he devotes himself to meditation, controlled breathing, and exercise. It is discipline, perseverance, and admirable tenacity that help him not only to improve his own health but also with courage and pride to face the illness that life has put in his way.
