When they send you to a psych ward, it goes downhill with you. It doesn’t pay if you’re a messenger of good news like us. We’re looking for an award-winning doctor, and the nurses will report us as a visitor from the airport. We don’t know what they meant, but the lesson says: Don’t blame yourself on psychiatry.
Mr. Mayor is kind to us and he’ll lend us a office where we can talk to the doctor undisturbed. Bohdana has been in the psychiatric department of the Faculty Hospital for 20 years. And just for the record, she’s a customer of hairdressers who nominated her, not the other way around.
From childhood she dreamed of being a pediatrician. There were two psychiatrists in the family, and she certainly didn’t want to do this profession, but she ended up here.
That was the best decision of my life, it’s an amazing and fulfilling job. I’m enjoying this work, and I’m here to relax, and the doctor says, and he adds that when he’s at work, he’s busy with it. He’s not the type to think about working problems at home. After work, she goes on her own for coffee to be undisturbed with herself for a while.
She loves travel, sea, reading fiction with relationship themes and she likes to watch movies on Netflix. Especially the Korean ones are her favorite. And, of course, she likes to go to the hairdressers because they’re inclined to all her ideas for change, and especially they’re positive and like to laugh.
