The head nurse of the Neonatological Clinic, Lujza Fraňová, welcomed us with a bell laugh similar to what you hear from young children. She invited us to the office with a broad smile and in a pink sister blouse with sovits she listened to her nomination letter. It was warm and open, and after a while, the sympathetic nurse bit gently into her lower lip to hold back tears of emotion.
Of course, the head nurse in neonatology must be a sensitive person. Despite her emotions, she did not seem fragile or clumsy, on the contrary. Lujza had the certainty and determination of kindness and patience. Of course, given the situation, it’s a little tense, but I’m just trying to describe the first impression she made on us. He has three sons, the eldest is eighteen and requires 24 hours of special care because of disability. But the family tries to function normally, and younger brothers learn the basic principle of family help. ♦ The boys are 13 and 8, and I can count on them. Brothers watch over, if necessary, says Lujza. He admits that there are difficult times, but the family is so cohesive that they complement and recharge each other. I teach my kids that even disabled people are perfectly normal people and need to be helped and taken between themselves and not to divide them from the collective. I can’t stand someone pulling an autist out of the collective. That’s very bad, he adds.
Lujzino’s work at the neo-natal clinic is also a big topic for discussion. After all, two years ago, she received a prestigious award, a purple heart that shines in a subtle place from behind the computer screen. About him next time, work can’t wait.
We got lucky again today. We were able to appreciate a nice man just before going on vacation. They’re going to the Tatras, all five of them.
It wasn’t the first time a lucky girl wished us that much. And it’s not because we appreciate people. Because we’re just mailmen.
