Marta Brlejová

Ms Marta Brlejová lives on the outskirts of Trenčín, where new buildings of bungalows and residential houses meet with the streets of the family houses of old people. She’s still active. He leads the Club of the Minorities, organizes sightseeing tours and theatre visits. Just recently they returned from a two-day trip in Košice, where they visited the city, the Cathedral of St. Elizabeth and also visited the theatre. Mrs Rajnoh, who sent us to Mrs Marte with appreciation, went along with them. Marinka would hardly dare herself with her crutches, but thanks to a dozen friends from the Unity of Pensioners, she was taken in a wheelchair to the Tatras and they are going back there.

We will enjoy the environment and spa treatments. The seniors need to meet, clear their heads from their worries, so that at home alone they still don’t just think about what hurts and what else hurts them.

Seniors at joint meetings and trips come to other thoughts and draw on life’s energy and optimism. They meet once a month in a cultural house and also go on trips to the surroundings. Soblahov to Ondrej, church for fish or Kubrej for langos. They’ve been to the National Theatre five times this year. They go to opera and ballet.

Apart from regular activities with seniors, Marta is involved in accounting and also in its pets. He will willingly lead us to the rabbit and show us his furry pets. Chickens hang under their feet, and their croaking portrays the rural atmosphere of the outskirts.
