Juraj Hudák

Juraj is a former occupational soldier, and even though he no longer wears military uniform, he is still a civil servant.

It comes from Horehronie and his wife Jitka is Liptáčka with Czech roots. They have lived in Trencin for over 20 years. We were accepted together because they are also colleagues at work. A pleasant young couple lives by sport: both love running and hiking.

Jitka and Juraj are enthusiastic organizers of the running event, which they organized for two decades within the Festival of HoryZonta and also helped to establish the Trenčín cross-country league. They work together with CSR Merry Christmas Goldsmiths in organizing a charity run, which is also supported by the European Capital of Culture through their Live Neighbours project. The extract of it went for handicapped children. He and his friend Adam agreed to renew the Run of Mutuality and to create the Run of Czechoslovak Friendship, which runs at the common border. Again, he would like to convey to other enthusiasts a sense of friendship that he and his wife share in running events.

At cross-country events, he often takes on the role of moderator, which is rooted in his youth, as he also devoted himself to amateur theatre and danced in a folklore ensemble where he met his wife.

By the way, a coincidence got into the story again. Last name is namesakes. My older brother’s name is Juraj, so I wondered what his namesake looked like. He said that he was looking at me too, because his son is called Peter again.
