Ján Drinka

Ján Drinka is a former train driver, and as a skilled master, he has no retirement from work. Day after day stretches antique clock in St. Anna’s Chapel and helps in other churches.

It was appreciated by the churchwoman from St. Anna’s Chapel, but John is also known in the church in the settlement South, Skalka, in the Trenčín Notre Dame or on the parish. We caught him and a bunch of friends painting the monastery church at the high school. Notre School Nurse Dame, who coordinated the work, didn’t really like us there. From her point of view, we kept the guys from working, but to our defense, we have to say, not for a bad thing.

Gradually, we appreciated three guys who are helping with all the church work. These activities require men’s hand, fortiel and experience. They download, paint, clean, mow, cut and repair everything they need.

John is glad that even in retirement he can still be useful. In addition to cleaning and repairs in churches, he is devoted to gardening and his bees. He then supplies the famous with quality homemade honey and everything he grows in his garden.
