We’ve been standing on this line for almost a week, just like the other one, from the mayor. Kofy’s line will take us to the district doctor’s office today. The waiting room is full, so we better back out. There is also a door from the hallway to the surgery, but there is a sign on it: DO NOT. The old lady asks us if we’ve knocked. We’ll show you on the sign. He flaps his hand and knocks hard. The nurse opens, disappears in the office, and then invites us in. The doctor is surprised and pleased. We’ll give her the awards and the candy. He’ll think Grandma needs to come in and thank her. She wonders what she’d be saying. He doesn’t have time to write an award for anyone else. The waiting room is full. Maybe later, in the afternoon.

There were a lot of patients, and we know that everyone is waiting for help from the doctor. We’re stuck on both lines, and we believe that tomorrow morning will allow us to continue.
