It seems as if we have a branch office in the women’s surgical department because another award-winning woman works right here. Colleagues say she’s a favorite for her kind relationship to all of them without distinction. He smiles at the patients, although they are often hard to work with. The new young colleagues do not exaggerate, but on the contrary, they patiently learn to fit into the collective as soon as possible.

Alice had a difficult time before being hospitalized with a serious diagnosis. They even lay in a room with the station nurse, and it was these physically and especially mentally difficult moments that brought them even closer together. Finally, health problems were overcome by the support and assistance of the sisters in the department and returned to work. As she says, she missed mainly people and work. Yet, prayers together gave her the strength not to give up and fight.

If Alenka is not at work, you will find her on hiking trails somewhere in the High Tatras, which is her favorite destination. Or maybe in a garden where she relaxes with her husband.

We looked for Alenka on vacation. It took two days because she used her time off to visit her family or to help her mother who accompanied her to Trencin for a visual examination. Fortunately, the heat fell a little from the beginning of the week, and thanks to the wind we tried how to rinse our tartars. We received the nomination from Alenka after twenty minutes, which we sat in the trunk of our blue-pink-yellow -lentilka—
