It's nice. Too bad you caught me on the street here, it's not such a dignified place
Gita, as friends call her, is a very self – sacrificing, hardworking, and religious woman. We’re waiting for her after Mass at St. Anne’s Chapel, which is her heart condition.
He comes here daily to pray for the sick, the dying, the suffering, the abandoned, the families and the children. It belongs to a fifth of the women who, apart from moments of prayer, spend time and selfless work here in cleaning the chapel’s premises. Gitka appreciates, her friends are keenly interested in what is happening.
The noise of the street and the petitions of the homeless for alms is mingled in the slurring women’s voices. The chapel stands between two paths and there is not much where to find a little quiet and privacy. Gitka would accept a more dignified place to appreciate, and she says goodbye in a hurry.
