I always tended to people who needed help. God, the human soul and the visual, that's mine
One of the advantages of a pedagogical team A special elementary school will soon say goodbye to an active working life. Within thirty years of her work, she left an indelible mark. Mary is a studied academic sculptor and restorer. However, she added education to work with children who need special care. Impulse was an interview with director Philip Renč. Speaking about filming Requiem pro virgina, he mentioned that during the stay of filmmakers at a facility for people with mental disadvantages, clients made significant progress in the artistic expression.
It was a crucial moment for Mary. Although she had never wanted to teach before, she suddenly felt that this is the way to combine art with human help. For her, fine art has become a channel of communication that does not need words, emotions are enough. And they have children with disabilities to give.
The biggest challenge is to help new pupils open up. Find a way to relax emotions, overcome the initial barriers and teach their patience in creation. The results of her work are visible every year. Her students at the exhibitions of their works regularly prove that there was a lot of truth in Rence’s words. Their current work can be seen in the Cultural and Information Centre of the Peace Square.
The director also came to see the award. The informant had convinced him the day before that she also received awards and sherpa from the pair in the tartars. I didn’t, I did. Finally, he was pleased that his colleagues received such thanks. At that moment, we had no idea we weren’t seeing each other for the last time.
