Peter’s the manager at the bike company. In addition, Kryowell also employs people with disabilities. Alongside the payout, it also gives them something much more valuable, a sense of self-sufficiency, usefulness and dignified application. It is no exception that the blind masseur is helping another disadvantaged client. Peter thus fulfills his dream of meaningful business and at the same time enters into the life stories of people who would otherwise find it very difficult to find a place on the labour market.

Peter is also a passionate cyclist who traveled a significant part of the world on two wheels. He started in Australia, biked in Romania, Georgia or Turkey, and returned home from Copenhagen by bicycle. During his travels he got to know countries, cultures and people, and from them he took a simple but strong conviction: “If you want to meet good people, sit on your own bike and go to the world. Wherever I was, everyone treated me nicely and tried to help me.

♦ His experiences would quietly be published on several travel novels. However, there was no time for long talk this time. He rushed into a lecture related to his literally heart affair. He is a founding member of the Foundation of Good Heart Boris Sádecké, created after the tragic death of a young Trenčín hockey player. The heart failed during the fight. The Foundation focuses on education in the field of health protection of athletes of all ages. It organises lectures, supports prevention and advocates the expansion of special benches equipped with automatic external defibrillator (AED) to help with sudden heart failure as close as possible to people. We also found one at the Stadium of Paul Demitra in Sihot.

Peter was modest. What he does for his surroundings, however, would deserve not one award but the whole series.
